This week I read an interesting article about parasites and yeasts that I wanted to share with you.*

Yeast is naturally occurring in our bodies but sometimes overgrowth can take place which can cause some problems to overall health and fertility. Over growth can occur when we eat too much sugar, glucose and fructose or when our beneficial bacteria are depleted through medication such as antibiotics.

Parasites come in all shapes and sizes, microscopic to several feet long! They can come from animals, food, drink, skin contact, an infected person and can infect the body for years.

Sugar, glucose and fructose feeds the parasite infestation the same as a feeding yeast overgrowth, and without enough beneficial bacteria to fight them off it can get worse and worse.

So what symptoms could be a sign that you have a parasite infestation or yeast overgrowth? Here’s just a few……….

Constant tiredness – Difficulty sleeping and waking up – Rectal itching, especially at night – Sensitivity to food or chemicals – More than one vaginal yeast infection – Bloating and gas – Food cravings, especially for sweet or starchy foods – Intestinal cramps – Endometriosis – Psoriasis or eczema – Lowered immune system and constant illness – Rashes or itching around genitals in men or women – Menstrual irregularities including irregular periods, heavy bleeding, cramps, PMS, or anovulation – Anxiety or depression – History of high sugar/carbohydrate consumption.
